Further Education

Anyone who has just finished their GCSEs will need to consider whether or not they want to continue their education. If they do decide to do so, there is a large number of further education options to choose from; from staying on at school sixth form and taking academic courses such as A' levels, to joining the world of employment and undertaking work-based learning.
However, further education (FE) is not just for school leavers. Courses are open to learners of all ages - even those that did not complete their education whilst they were at school. FE courses can be used to brush up on basic skills - maths, reading and writing, allowing learners to progress to higher-level courses and even University.
Here you'll find information on the wide variety of ways to become involved in further education, along with the range of qualifications that can be obtained.
